Refers to a painting drawing or print that is a replica done to immitate the style and execution of an other artists work. These images are often masterfully created and sometimes command a sizeable price if they are executed well, or by a master artist. Remember there is always room for improvement. Remember though, that an "After" Rembrandt print is not a restike from an original Rembrandt plate. It is an artist etching a plate to look like an original, maybe even better than an original. It should be much less in price for that reason.
